We are very happy to announce that my wife and I have been approved to adopt a child from Morocco!  After waiting for more than a year, we finally received a call from the orphanage, asking us to come as soon as possible to adopt this beautiful little boy.  The in-country process is lengthy and complicated, but at the end of it we hope to bring 6-month old Naeel home.


International adoption is not only difficult, but also costly.  We expect this adoption to cost a total of $16,560, which includes the US homestudy and I-600A expenses, roundtrip airfare for three, in-country transportation and a place to stay, meals, Moroccan homestudy, administrative and court expenses, an orphanage donation, medical exam,  US visa fee, and finally, readoption costs back in the US to make him truly, legally ours.

To accomplish this goal, we need all the help we can get because, as you know, teachers aren't the highest paid professionals!  (We do it because we love working with kids and we love teaching.)  Please help us raise the funds needed to bring Naeel home.
