Coach Jason fights ALS

Hi, my name is Gina Aparicio and we have been asked for a way to help Coach Jason during this time so we decided to create this account for him to support him during his fight with ALS. Coach Jason is a beloved Head Varsity Coach at California High School in Whittier, California. He has also coached freshman football during his years at Cal High and is a huge supporter of youth sports, following in his dad’s footsteps. A few weeks ago, we got the news that Jason was diagnosed with ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease, during our softball season, but he continued to coach our girls through the CIF sectionals and State finals. He is truly one-of-kind! As people have reached out asking how they can help Coach Jason, we have decided to create this go fund me. Due to his diagnosis Jason was unable to keep his employment at WUHSD. With all the new medical trials and treatments and just medical expenses in general, it all adds up and with this fund we hope to be able to eleviate some of the financial burden.
