(Update below) As of today, Eldon has been in the hospital 21 days, following back surgery Oct 8, due to complications. He should recover fully, but the doctors say it will take awhile. The money will go toward hospital fees and bills. Because of Covid, I can't spend the night, so I am having to drive back and forth to the hospital every day which is 30 miles away and pay parking fees. To top it off, we are moving. He is slowly regaining his strength, but still needs a walker. His balance is returning, not as quickly as he would like, lol. The pain meds don't help balance but they do wonders for pain levels! Thanking God for whoever invented those! I can't stand to see him hurting. He's such an independent little/big stinker/sweetheart. However, it is sooo much better than even a week ago. He sat in the recliner for several hours yesterday, which is awesome. I know he's glad to be out of that bed!
