Coach Timothy "Dash" Weeks Fund
Donation protected
Dash Weeks was one of the most instrumental volunteers in the Los Alamos Hockey Association from 2003 to 2007, growing the program to over 200 players. Dash sacrificed hundreds of hours and family time to grow the game of Hockey in Los Alamos and New Mexico, as a father, coach, and board member.
Over the past month Dash has been in the hospital with his daughter Demi now 22 who started playing hockey in Los Alamos over 13 years ago. Below is an explanation of Dash and his families fight.
If you feel compelled to contribute to Dash please use this go fund me.

From Dash
Things are changing daily, but the back story is the same. Dash lives in Colorado with his new bride, Missy. His daughter, Demi (now 22), was admitted to a hospital in New Mexico on Christmas day with pneumonia. Dash learned of this on December 30th and has been bedside with her since New Year's Eve. Dash works for NIST, a part of the Department of Commerce in Boulder. The government shutdown was a mixed blessing, it allowed him the time to be bedside, but despite backpay being promised, the expenses of being displaced from home are adding up. The government is re-opened, but Dash will remain in New Mexico until Demi is discharged. She will hopefully be transferred to an acute care facility in Colorado which will allow Dash to return to work and regain some normalcy with Missy.
The pneumonia from septic emboli is a grave condition for Demi but it turns out to be caused by something far worse. She has bacteria growing on the valves in her heart. The original antibiotics aren't keeping up with the bacteria and the doctors are getting more aggressive. Open heart surgery will be required but they are working hard to give her body a chance to recover first. Being in the midst of the various procedures, intensive care unit hospitalization, and progressive care hospitalization, the medical expenses are mounting. A total can’t be known at this point. The unknown grows with upcoming medical transport, long term acute care, surgery, and then more recovery.
God has been in the middle of this hardship, we aren’t promised a trouble-free life, but Dash and Missy have faith that they aren’t doing this alone. They see God’s hand working in the situations they face to protect them and provide for them. They are humble and grateful for all the encouragement and support they have received. Your continued prayers and support are greatly appreciated.
