Help Coach Dale!
 
During the recent BRAG 2018 (Bike Ride Across Georgia), Coach Dale was injured in a brutal fall from his bicycle while descending a hill.  He was transported by ambulance to the hospital in Dalton, Georgia.  For the remainder of BRAG 2018 fellow cyclists expressed concern and extended well wishes for his recovery.  Though his injuries precluded Coach Dale from completing the ride he remained humbled and thankful for the expressions of love and concern from many who only knew about him as a cyclist and coach with the BRAG Dream Team.  He needs our help Now!
 
March 2017 Dale Redwood volunteered to be one of the coaches with the newly formed cycling club in coastal Georgia, Geechee Kunda BRAG Dream Team.  From day one Coach Dale exhibited the true spirit of commitment and volunteerism with the BRAG Dream Team.  In 2017 he rode with the BRAG Dream Team for several club, training rides, BRAG Spring Tune Up, BRAG 2017, Gullah/Geechee Youth Cycling Tour, MACC One Love Century, BRAG USBR21.  Thus far in 2018 he has completed with the BRAG Dream Team several club, training rides, BRAG Winter Ride, BRAG Spring Tune-Up, and VeloCity Ride. 
 
The BRAG Dream Team is a youth cycling program for middle and high school students.  The organization has been in existence for nearly twenty-five years thanks to committed adults who volunteer to serve as coaches, mentors, and the Dream Team Director to young people who are recruited to become cyclists and learn skills of leadership, cooperation, teamwork, service to others, and how to manage challenges. 
 
Coach Dale does not have health insurance.  Funds raised will be used by Coach Dale to help pay his medical expenses, which have exceeded $15,000.00.
