Coach Ben and family in need of our support

Some of you may already know, one of our very own rugby family members has recently run into some significant health challenges. A US Marine Veteran and a selfless, compassionate, dedicated coach of the Lady Cavaliers HS Rugby team for many years, Ben Williams is not one to ask others for help. But when we see that one of our family needs it, as a rugby community, and as a family, we step in and step up.

As Ben embarks on a journey to recovery, it’s obviously a tremendously challenging time for him, but it also impacts the rest of his family in many different ways. Not only are they worried for his wellbeing, they are also down an income stream as well as one half of the parental team typically there to manage all the ongoing family needs and activities - driving, meal preparation etc. So with this in mind we are running this fundraiser in an effort to make life at home during this period a little easier for Maria, Teka and Benjie as well as Ben. The idea being to cover some of the daily items with Doordash meals and Uber transport, in order to free up time to focus on Ben recovering.
