Coach Andrei Emergency Surgery

Hello friends and family, near and far.
Many of you know my dad, Andrei Samorodov, as a fencing coach. Many of you know him as a leader and strong man. Many of you know him as a military man. To me, he is papa!
Today, he had to have emergency surgery on his spine.
He has been suffering for many months, many of them silently, trying not to let anyone know he is in pain. That is the kind of man he is. He did not want us to worry or feel bad for him. He wanted to fix it himself.
Last 6 months he has been doing all he can to fix his back issues - physical therapy, changing his diet and life habits and many other ways to try to ease his pain.
This has greatly affected his work as a fencing coach, and every day life. Many days it was very hard for him to give lessons and work with his students, let alone stand for more than a few minutes at a time. This caused even more pain. Not being able to work with his kids, with his pride and joy.
Nothing seemed to be working, and the pain was getting worse and worse by the day. The pain went from his back into his left leg, and his left leg became very thin - as the tissues and muscles started to weaken and fall apart.
Today, he met with another spine doctor, and the only option was immediate surgery.
As we do not (unfortunately) have insurance, the cost of this surgery is very high. We have dug deep into our savings, and used what we can for the surgery, but sadly it does not cover everything. Being immigrants, and self employed, our savings are unfortunately not very deep at this time.
I am asking for any possible donation, to help us cover this surgery, and to bring my papa back to health and happiness.
