Unexpected job loss

My name is Jessi, I unexpectedly lost my job 1/2/24

I'm starting a gofund me in the hopes that someone somewhere can understand the fear of losing one's job unexpectedly and still needing to afford to live. I'm actively looking for work, but unsure on when I'll be able to find one.

I have a rent payment ($2,500) that needs to be paid, groceries ($200), gas($40/wk), car bill ($480/month), cat food ($75/month). I'm afraid of being able to keep myself on my feet during the unsure times.

I've applied for unemployment but not sure if and or when it'll go through.

I'm just hoping for any small amount of help.

I thought I was doing the right thing by standing by my employees at the restaurant company I worked for, but corporate canned me for I believe, caring.

The funds will be used to keep me treading water while I try to find a new job.
