Amber's Fight Against Leukemia

As many of you know, our daughter Amber has been fighting Leukemia AML for the last few months. As the amazing warrior she is, Amber already went through an aggressive form of chemotherapy, and ended kicking it back into remission.

However, the fight is not over yet. Due to the aggresivity of her type of cancer, she will need to get an Allogeneic Stem Cell Transplant to keep her body cancer-free. To achieve this, she will be required t ostay for a month at the Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa plus other 90 days in the Tampa area for follow-up patient care.

Amber's short-term dissability is running soon and then she will have no choice but to go on Cobra which will be around $800 a month. This on top of the $20,000 co-pay that she is being charged for the treatment already done,  (plus rent in Tampa will be another $1,200 per month). Her husband Jose has been taking her back & forth to her daily doctor's appointments, so he has being losing a lot of business, and of course, she can't go back to work until she gets a clean bill of health. Ricky & I have been helping as well, but it is becoming too much to bear financially.
