
CNY Dirt Trail Building and Maintenance

CNY Dirt is raising funds to help build new and maintain current trails in the Syracuse area. These funds will go directly to support the following projects either currently on going or planned over the next 12 months. With the help of the DEC, CNY Dirt will be planning and building another 4+ miles of trials on Morgan Hill with the next 1.1 miles in planning phase with building starting this spring.
Morgan Hill machine work ($4500)
Snow grooming at Morgan Hill and Green Lakes ($1500)
Lumber for bridges and board walks at Morgan Hill ($4000)
A backpack blower for new trail building and spring/fall clean up ($1000)
Pipe for drainage ($500)
Rogue Hoe tools ($500)
Fuel, flagging, chains and other trail building consumables ($500)
CNY Dirt currently manages trail systems for Morgan Hill, Highland Forest, Duguid Park, Golden Park and Green Lakes.
All funds will be donated to Onondaga Cycling Club, a 501c3 of which CNY Dirt is a subsidiary. Onondaga Cycling Club maintains a ledger for CNY Dirt funds.
More information about Onondaga Cycling Club: The Onondaga Cycling Club is a Central New York based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization which organizes cycling events. We schedule and conduct bicycle rides, vacation rides, races, and time trials from March through December throughout the Central New York area.
