Help Trevor's Family Through This Crisis

Donation protected
Hello! I have been lifelong friends with Travis. He is an amazing father to his children. He has an amazing fiancée, Tiffany.

Back on Tuesday evening, November 26, 2024, at 8:17 PM, their 14-year-old son, Trevor, was playing VR with a close friend when he suddenly experienced erratic breathing. His friend asked, "What's wrong?" and Trevor replied, "Oh God, my heart," before collapsing.

At 8:19 PM, Trevor's dad walked into the room and found him unresponsive, his face blue and purple, with his head hanging off the bed. Acting quickly, his dad began CPR and called for help. Paramedics arrived at 8:25 PM, and Trevor was life-flighted to Vanderbilt Children's Hospital, where he remained in critical but stable condition for a long time.

Trevor has had heart problems since he was little. Since being admitted, he has faced numerous challenges, including pneumonia and air pockets forming outside his lungs.

Additionally, his trachea was lacerated in two places during intubation, leaving him only able to whisper for a while.

Despite these hurdles, there are moments of hope. This has been an incredibly challenging time for this family. There is a long road ahead, not only for Trevor as he recovers but also for his family as they navigate the emotional and financial strain of this journey.

Any help, whether through donations, prayers, or simply sharing their story, would mean the world to them. Thank you for your kindness and support during this critical time. Trevor had 7 surgeries during this last lengthy hospital stay, but in total, he’s had 11 surgeries his whole life.

Trevor has several siblings, but he has a younger brother, Tryton, who just turned 12 on May 27th, and then Trevor will be 15 on June 21st.

Travis owns his own tile and marble company, and he hasn’t worked much because he has been with Trevor. They are really struggling. Trevor ended up being in the hospital until February 12th. He's had 60 appointments since being home, that his dad has to take him to, from their home in Dickson, TN, to Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville for tests, twice a week to have his INR level checked, to keep his levels between 2.25 to 2.50. If his blood gets too thick, it can cause cardiac arrest or a brain clot, which would require brain surgery.

Not only is this family trying to keep their son alive & a roof over their heads. I will explain what’s going on with their home, their landlord, and their living conditions at this moment, in the next update. Please help them any way you can.
Travis also has other ways to send him some help. I’m going to try to link those. Also my venmo is Travis-Reeves-19, CashApp $TFane2771
