Pete is a loving father who takes good care of his kids. He is also A father figure to his oldest niece . He does his best to give them everything he didn’t have when he was younger. He makes sure they have everything they need.
Not only is he a great father but he is also a wonderful son. He provides for his family and pays all the household bills to make sure we have a roof over our heads.
Pete is A great brother who is very fun to be around. He always invites us to hang out. When times are hard and we don’t have money he is always willing to pay. That’s the loving person he is.
Most people have someone they consider a best friend, but I consider myself extremely lucky to have met someone I consider a brother. Pete and I met the last day of high school, he has the same heart and work ethic I had growing up. Both our fathers have a business that we grew up working in. While most kids in high school were having fun experiencing teenage years, we made a strong connection knowing what it felt like missing out on most high school experiences and busting our butts from a young age. As the years passed on any time we had free time from work we would hang out. Pete is not the type to ask for a helping hand so it comes with a heavy heart to have to do this, but he needs help this time. His favorite quote to me is “BIRD IS THE WORD” meaning he won’t ask why I need him for something, if I call him. Now I need to be there for him. A few weeks ago we went camping. He wasn’t feeling very well, he felt congested and slept all weekend. He thought since he worked a lot, he was tired. It continued into Sunday and when Monday came we rushed him to the hospital because he started coughing up blood. The blood indicated he got pneumonia.
Legionnaires' disease which is a severe form of pneumonia — lung inflammation usually caused by infection. It's caused by a bacterium known as legionella. Most people catch Legionnaires' disease by inhaling the bacteria from water or soil. Older adults, smokers, and people with weakened immune systems are particularly susceptible to Legionnaires' disease. The legionella bacterium also causes Pontiac fever, a milder illness resembling the flu. Pontiac fever usually clears on its own, but untreated Legionnaires' disease can be fatal. Although prompt treatment with antibiotics usually cures Legionnaires' disease, some people continue to have problems after treatment.
Prior to this disease 3 years ago he experienced this rare disease called Wegener’s granulomatosis it is a multisystem disease characterized by granulomata of the respiratory tract and systemic necrotizing vasculitis. Very few people actually have this disease.
The reason we are creating a Go Fund Me page is Pete needs help paying for medication and medical bills. His kids are starting school soon and they need clothes and school supplies, also some of his bills are due soon. Thank you to everyone who took the time reading this.
