Support for the Oliveira Family

It is with a defeated heart that we post this GoFundMe today on behalf of the Oliveira family. After a month-long battle, Israel gained his wings at 10:28 p.m. on September 8th, 2021. Israel was admitted to the hospital on August 8th with COVID. After several weeks, he developed COVID-initiated pneumonia, fibrosis of the lungs, and a bacterial infection, among other complications. To help alleviate difficulty breathing, Israel was intubated and put on a ventilator. Despite, all his best efforts and all the prayers of his family and friends, Israel succumbed to his illness exactly one month after arriving at Wellington Regional Medical Center.

 

Israel was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and pastor. He leaves behind a wife (Ozenilde), four children (Daniela, Israel Jr., Thais, and Tiago), and four grandchildren (Davi, Giovanna, Mariana, and Isabella). Looking through pictures now, it is undeniable how much passion and happiness Israel had for his family and church. His smile and laughter will remain salient in the hearts and minds of his loved ones indefinitely.

 

Prior to COVID, Israel was a healthy and strong man, so his passing has come as a complete shock to his family. We created this GoFundMe page to help alleviate the financial burdens of the medical, funeral, and lawyer costs that will inevitably come.
