Help for the Wallace Family

It is with a very heavy heart that I am typing these words. One of our very own Hicksville families is in dire need of help. Alex Wallace, son of Mike & Michelle, brother to Josh, was just diagnosed with Leukemia. How does something like this happen? How can this be real? It's every parent's worst nightmare........ everyone's worst fear realized.
For those of you who know the Wallace family, the old saying "to know them, is to love them" is an understatement. The warmth, love and caring that this family puts forth is immeasurable. Mike is the Vice President of the Hicksville Soccer Club. Both Alex and Josh are players. Michelle is an outstanding employee at Hofstra University. The Wallaces are very active in the Hicksville community. They are extremely supportive and dedicated to all of their friends and family. To those of you who don't know them, I can only say that they are one of the finest, most caring and strongest families I have the privilege of knowing and I have the honor of calling my friends.
