Support for the family of Robert Santiago.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the unfortunate news of the passing of Robert Santiago on February 3rd, 2025 after many years battling heart disease and kidney failure. His fight went for many years requiring dialysis but finally coming to an end after suffering a heart attack and now he’s able to rest in the hands of our lord and savior.. Robert was a father, husband, and for many a friend in the motorsports industry. A humble, sweet, loving Christian man that touched many lives.

Known in the Drag Racing world to many as part of the Skern Racing team, he battled his health issues while also providing the racing community with services in rotary engines and balancing, Some may also remember him as the former owner of the black rotary Modified car know for some time as the “Darth Vader” of which we have great memories and had great times with our family and friends.

Robert was a 100% disabled vet after having served the United States Army as a helicopter technician. He was a selfless provided to both country and peers always putting others first. As the family navigates the stormy waters of this profound loss we are reaching out for any support to help the beloved family during this tragic time. Any contribution, big or small, would be a tremendous blessing in helping ease the financial burden during his departure.We appreciate your kindness, prayers, and support. Thank you for honoring Robert’s life and legacy with your generosity.

Es con un corazón pesado que les informamos de la desafortunada noticia del fallecimiento de Robert Santiago en febrero 3, 2025 después de muchos años batallando condiciones del corazón y riñones. Su pelea duró por muchos años requiriendo diálisis y finalmente culminando al sufrir un trágico ataque al corazón y ahora descansa en las manos de nuestro Señor y Salvador. Robert era un padre, esposo y para muchos un amigo en la industria de autos de carreras. Un hombre humilde, cariñoso, seguidor de Dios que tocó la vida de muchos.

Conocido en el mundo de “Drag Racing” como miembro del equipo de Skern Racing, el batalló con su salud mientras le brindaba servicios a la comunidad de corredores en servicios para motores rotativos y balanceo. Algunos se recordarán de Robert como el dueño de aquel carro negro, el Modified conocido por un tiempo como el “Darth Vader” con cual tuvimos buenas memorias y pasamos buenos tiempo junto a family y amigos.

Robert era un veterano deshabilitado al 100% después de haber servido en el Army de los Estados Unidos como técnico de helicópteros. Honoro sus servicios a nuestro país y a nuestra comunidad siempre poniendo a otros por encima de el primero.. Ahora que la familia enfrenta navegar en aguas tormentosas durante esta tragedia estamos abriendo este método para brindar cualquier ayuda posible. Cualquier contribución, grande o pequeña, será tremendamente agradecida para ayudar en la carga financiera que surge durante la pérdida de Robert Santiago. La familia aprecia la generosidad de todos y pide oración y apoyo de todos. Gracias por honrar la vida y legado de Robert con su ayuda.
