Life is kinda rough trying to live off social security. But then life throws you a huge curveball. For about 2 1/2 months, since we bought our mobile home and moved back to Sandy, Steve hasn't felt well. It started with shoulder pain. It made it hard to do all the things we need to do around a 47-year-old mobile home to fix her up. Then Steve's pain moved into his neck. Then he couldn't eat much. He'd throw up. We went twice to the emergency room and twice to his doctor. They'd throw a couple of prescriptions at him and dismiss him. I kept asking, why can't we do an MRI? Oh, he's just pulled a muscle or something. Finally, God bless a nurse advocate that actually listened and ordered an MRI of his neck. Well, the MRI came back showing a mass attached to the upper C-spine and one in his face on the right side of his nose. The VA covers most things, just not drugs. Steve has been working a part-time job before we moved. That helps us keep up with life's expenses. We see the neurosurgeon on Nov 6th. It would be nice to catch up on expenses and take care of what Steve needs. Thank you for taking the time to read this and consider helping.
