On Tuesday 23rd September, tragedy struck when our dear friend and her family's home went up in flames. In an instant, their world has been turned upside down.
Nilcan and Refik are parents with two children at Highfield Primary School. The fire happened in the afternoon, so thankfully the children were both at School. Nilcan was at home and managed to flee the burning building. Refik was at work, unaware of the phone call that was about to come.
They are deeply grateful to be safe and unharmed, but the road ahead is uncertain.
This family has lost their home, their belongings, and their sense of safety all in a single day. It will be a long and difficult road to recovery for them.
Please help this family in their time of need. Unfortunately the house has not been insured and need is more than expected. My Donations will go towards replacing house rebuild , essential items lost in the fire and supporting the family through this unimaginable time. We are reaching out to ask for your support.
