Celebrating the Life of Bruce Dady
AUGUST 24 UPDATE: It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we report Bruce's passing. Bruce passed away on Saturday, August 21, at Centennial Medical Center. Bruce was a man of faith who trusted in God’s plan and cherished time spent with his family. Anyone who met Bruce knew of his contagious smile, charming personality, and uplifting spirit. He had a larger-than-life presence about him that always made a lasting impression. Those who knew Bruce will always remember him for his generosity and selflessness. Bruce loved the outdoors, especially when he was bow-hunting white tail deer. He also enjoyed staying physically fit by working out and being on the softball field.
Bruce is survived by his mother, Marcia Dady; his daughter Taylor; his son Bryce; and the love of his life, his fiance Ashley Robinson. He is also survived by his Uncle Guy Wilson (Rhessa), Aunt Kyla Wilson (Cody), Aunt Shirley B. Wilson (Pat), and many loving cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Tony Dady, and his grandparents, Cleve A. Wilson and Dolores R. Wilson of Nashville.
Bruce's visitation will be held from 1-4 P.M. on Saturday, August 28, at Hendersonville Memory Gardens and Funeral Home, 353 E Main St, Hendersonville, with a service to follow from 4-5 P.M. Thank you all for your love and support during this deeply painful time. Your thoughts and prayers are appreciated, as are your generous donations, which will help offset Bruce's funeral expenses.
AUGUST 20 UPDATE: Bruce has been in the hospital for 36 days. He is currently on VV ecmo, which is lung support. He is also receiving lung support from a ventilator, kidney support, and is on an abundance of medications keeping him going as he heals from the aftermath of his critical COVID-19 illness. The updated featured picture is of Bruce coming back from a CT scan, as it took 7 nurses and specialists to help transport him and his support machines.
Bruce is a sole proprietor in his electrical contracting business, and his fiancee, mother, and close friends in the business are doing everything possible to keep the business going until he is well. Bruce is also Dad to Taylor, a senior in high school, and Bryce, a sophomore in high school. We would all appreciate any help you could provide during this critical time for Bruce. We also appreciate all of your thoughts, texts, and prayers.
