Hey Everyone,
This weekend Aug 10-11th I will be cycling 250km from Dublin to Galway in aid of CMT, Charcot Marie Tooth, to raise awareness and funds for research to cure this devastating disease that affects the sending of signals to limbs and loss of function of motor skills.
This is an issue that is very close to my heart as it directly affects one of my closest and oldest friends in my life, as well as his family. My friend has dedicated his life to curing this disease and after many years of applying himself and graduating with a PHD he is now one of the leading scientists in this field at the age of 33.
His determination and resilience has always served as an inspiration to me in life and I'm honoured to be taking part in this cycle for him and his family. My friend and his cousin who are both heavily affected by the symptoms of CMT will also be completing the 250km cycle this weekend.
They are both simply incredible people and I would highly welcome any support in the form of sponsorship no matter how little or big, it will all go a long way.
Thanks so much in advance for your support.
