We are not sure how Nathan, a ~5 year old schnauzer mix, found himself in an L.A. animal shelter or how he broke his tibia or detached his Achilles tendon, but we do know without help from a rescue Nathan would be on doggie death row. 

We, at the California Miniature Schnauzer Rescue, could not stand by and watch little Nathan suffer, so we broke him out of the shelter and am getting him the medical treatment he needs. Unfortunately, the vet bills are exceeding our current funding and we need to reach out to our friends and supporters for help.
