In Loving Memory of My Dad, George

Im gema his only daughter and I’m Writing these words which still doesn’t feel real. My dad was one hard working, and most loving person I’ve ever known. He was my protector — the person who always put everyone else first, even when life got hard.

My dad, George, passed away recently from natural causes. Even though it was his time, nothing could have prepared me for the emptiness that came after. Losing him has been very rough and difficult to ever face. There’s a quiet in my world now that feels impossible to fill.

He worked tirelessly his entire life to provide and to make sure the people he loved were cared for. Now, as I try to give him the farewell he deserves, I find myself needing help to cover the funeral and memorial costs. I never imagined having to ask for this kind of help, but I know he would want me to reach out instead of trying to carry it all alone.
