Hi friends and family! As most of you know, I was diagnosed with chronic myeloid leukemia in August of 2020 and I’m just really tired of trying to tell people I’m not crazy. Like, I literally just got told I was certifiably insane by the UCSD emergency room and sent home with a sleeping pill. (Receipts on request!!! Just kidding I’m going to post them all whether you want to see them or not because you only need to hide shit if you’re a man who has shit to hide and I don’t listen to you anymore)
Gofund me is set at $6,000 which is my health insurance deductible and out of pocket max with “great insurance private insurance!”. And get this - I get that insurance for FREE because I am married to a government employee (Medi Maldonado - you may know her as FPO of the year) I think you deserve that kind of care too.
I wanted to put a goal of $10, because what could a banana possibly cost Michael? $10???? But I thought gofundme might remove it and think it was a joke - so you’re actually paying for my medical bills! They’re just only $6,000. But for real I need the money for legal fees because I am about to fuck some shit up real quick.
So give me some money because :
I have cancer and I need a nap, because it takes 162 days to get the SSDI that I am entitled to as a person who has worked 40 hours a week for the last 15 years.
Because you support uniforms!!! (I’m looking at you white people who think that jobs and uniforms are a protected class!!!) I happen to be married to a QUEER WOMAN OF COLOR VETERAN GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEE CORRECTIONS OFFICER. You already respect her. Seriously - she golfs at the Loma Club every Friday. But she deserves your respect outside of that uniform too, and my daughter deserves better than the world I got.
Also since it is 2022 and men have ruined the world I also want to state this:
