A member of my extended family has terminal cancer, and he is trying to plan a dream trip to take his wife and 7 year-old daughter to Disneyland, California Adventure, SeaWorld and the San Diego Zoo.  They will be visiting from Michigan on February 12-18 and are trying to make arrangements as soon as possible.  The funds will be used to help cover the cost of tickets, airfare, car (and other) rentals, meals, gas, parking, etc.  

The goal here is simple:  Let's BLESS this wonderful family and make their dream trip come true!

I think we often take for granted the blessings we have, and we don't typically live our lives day-to-day being conscious that our time here is finite.  My goal (with your help) is to ensure this family can spend the rest of their time together making memories that will live on and can be treasured for the rest of their lives.

If you've ever dealt with a terminal illness (directly or indirectly), you know that even someone offering to pay for your parking during a visit to the hospital can mean so, so much.  Sending this family on an amazing trip together and removing their worry of how they will pay for it is truly priceless.

The goal is $2,500 - Along with other donations we may receive, I believe this will cover the costs of this trip.  It would be pretty amazing to surpass this goal, though.  Anything we give above and beyond will definitely help with medical expenses and household needs for when they return home.
