On New Year’s day, my best friend, Rebekah was involved in a severe accident. She and her boyfriend were involved in an accident on the highway and when she got out of the car, she was struck by another vehicle. This has resulted in many broken bones, a punctured lung, and a brain injury. She is currently in UofM’s hospital in Ann Arbor. After her hospital stay, she will be in a live in rehab facility. Her parents, Nancy and Phil are staying in a hotel in Ann Arbor, and will continue to stay in Ann Arbor while Bekah is in rehab This family has treated me like family and deserves any help during this unfortunate time.
