MOLLII SUIT EASES SEVERE MS PAIN
Donation protected
Hi! My name is James Price. I’m launching this Go Fund Me campaign to raise money to buy a medical device that’s a marvel!
I have the form of MS, Primary Progressive, that only worsens. One of its effects is violent muscle spasticity that strikes at night. The pain ambushes me repeatedly, is severe and persists for hours.
The assault leaves me utterly exhausted and sleep deprived. “A good night’s sleep” is not remotely possible. Resulting chronic exhaustion during the day, every day, takes its own relentless toll on body, mind, and spirit.
The device that’s been helping me hugely is a Mollii Suit. No, it’s not fashion-forward. But it is life-
changing! Among the conditions it’s designed to treat is MS:
I’ve been using it on a trial basis and can attest that it dramatically curtails MS’s nightly assaults and permits me to sleep -- huge gains. Other physical benefits are substantial, too.
Developed in Sweden, the Suit was launched as a registered medical assistive device in 2012 across Europe. It’s now used in countries around the world.
How does it work? Electrodes embedded in a jacket and trousers are custom programmed to deliver electro-stimulation directly to specific muscle groups, simultaneously, over the entire body. Sessions last 60 minutes. Relief can last for up to 48 hours.
The company’s website offers lots more info:
The Suit, related equipment, and customer support cost £6,100 /$7600-- beyond my present means. I don’t lightly ask for donations, but this device has so substantially, consistently, eased my nights and my days that I don’t want to ever stop using it. I’ll be deeply grateful for whatever you can contribute to help me buy it.
I have another request, too; If you know other MS sufferers who might benefit from a Mollii Suit, please share the word with them!
Update ! I have now surpassed my target for the suit which is fantastic. Any donations will go towards my Physical therapy which is
With heartfelt thanks,
~James
