Hi! I'm Alrinthea!
For the past two years, I have been taking a challenging curriculum of courses that focus on the craft of screenwriting, satire, and Late Night Comedy monologues. To date, I have completed two original scripts, and am working on two more.
These courses have prepared me for my next step towards my goal of earning a TV Comedy Fellowship Certificate from The Writing Pad, a highly regarded school of Screenwriting based in Los Angeles and San Francisco, California. A certificate from The Writing Pad makes it possible for students to complete two full scripts, attain industry connections, and gain the skills necessary to be ready to pitch screenplays to entertainment executives and network fellowship programs. While participating in this program, I will be submitting my original scripts to the Fellowship programs at CBS, Warner Brothers, Nickelodeon, NBC Writers on the Verge, NBC Late Night Writers Workshop, Universal Studios, and 21st Century Fox.
I have also been accepted into the prestigious Conservatory program at Second City Chicago, a year-long program that focuses on improv performance and sketch writing, which will also help me gain further skills that will benefit my goals.
All donations will go towards tuition costs for The Second City Conservatory and the Writing Pad Certificate Program, as well as any necessary program application fees. Tuition for the Writing Pad Certificate is paid before each course and script consult and varies from $500 - $1200 each. Conservatory courses are $350 each, six levels total.
Any amount helps! A dear and very generous friend has agreed to match the first $1000 of donations, for which I am so grateful!
I really appreciate your help and your continued belief in my goals!
