On Sunday October 3, 2021 we suddenly lost our dad Rolando Rivas , also known as " Rivas". Roy was 58 and had a long career in law enforcement, starting at The Cameron County Sheriffs Dept. and retiring from Immigration and Customs Enforcement ICE. Roy had many friends and was always ready with his jokes to make you laugh. Rivas was always willing to give a helping hand to anyone who needed it. He has his daughter Carissa, son Michael, 3 grandboys, and his first granddaughter on the way. With his sudden and unexpected passing our family is raising funds to be able to lay him to rest in peace.
