Helping Guy

One of the most cherished gifts in life is the gift of true friendship … especially when a friendship lasts over 45 years.
For me, that long term friend is Guy Rigabar.
Guy and I first met when we worked for the same company in 1976.
Over the years, our lives have taken us down different paths, but our friendship always remained intact. One of Guy’s traits that have always impressed and inspired me is his positive attitude – regardless of the challenges that have been thrown at him.
Guy, a military veteran, is the type of man who would give the shirt off his back to a friend or stranger. He has always been quite active … working, hunting, or playing golf (which he is very good at).
Guy’s path became altered at the beginning of March 2022. His legs became increasingly numb, enough so that his wife Lynne took him to the hospital.
For far too many months, Guy had no use of his legs – NONE. Guy’s treatment path included three hospitals and a rehab center. As time passed, the bills kept piling up.
At the beginning of October, Guy finally returned home … with improved (but limited) use of his legs. With his determination, backed by his positive attitude, I am certain he will eventually be back to his former activity level.
But that is still a way off.
On Guy and Lynne’s behalf, I am asking all who know them, care about them, and love them to help defray their medical costs. Any amount will help. Bless you for your kindness and generosity.
Honored to be a friend of Guy,
