I want to thank you personally for being part of the Extreme Martial Arts Family from our beginnings in 1999 to 2020 now.
Master Ramirez is reaching out to everyone that is part of the Extreme Family so we all stay connected. I am asking everyone to support Extreme Martial Arts, the place you once called, or still call your “gym home”. We can stand together to get through this. COVID has caused a great deal of heartache across the globe. Being a small business owner has its hardships, but nothing like COVID. We need your help and donations to stay in business, so that we can open our doors for all the kids this summer! We ask you to please donate so that Extreme Martial Arts will have the opportunity to reopen when the quarantine is lifted for all the kids in our community. Unfortunately, COVID has hit hard in this area and we need to all support each other so we have a community to come back to this summer. We are asking from our family to your family as we have helped many of your families too. Master Ramirez is asking you all to remember the times he has personally helped your family through hard times, because we are FAMILY! Extreme Martial Arts is always there for the kids and their families.
Master Ramirez and Extreme Martial Arts has helped many kids throughout the years financially, emotionally, academically, mentally, and much more. Master Ramirez has provided for some families in need by providing gear, uniforms, t-shirts. Many students are receiving scholarships in the After School Program covered by Extreme Martial Arts because we understand the financial strain on your family, yet the need for childcare and discipline. Many of the students in the Taekwondo Program are on scholarships or receiving a discounted rate covered by Master Ramirez again, to support your child’s Taekwondo goals even if the parent’s are unable to pay. He has personally covered the cost of about 80 tournaments annually; that is over 1500 free tournaments for kids in our community; supporting families with eviction notices with a month or 2 with rent so the kids have a stable home or even a new place to live; providing groceries to those families in emergencies times, covering medical costs for families who are unable to pay for their child’s injury, and so much more over the last 20 years. Master Ramirez has also helped many families with when it comes to behavioral issues. He has been available after hours for dozens of calls/texts weekly for those parents who need help to manage their child’s tantrums, visiting students in school to monitor them in class, and communicating with teachers and staff to help guide them in the right direction; he has prevented Juvenile Detention or helped bailed out over 20 kids from Juvenile Hall, he has prevented or helped kids recover from a severe drug or alcohol problem in many students. He has mentored thousands of kids to a more positive and strong future. He has helped more than 20 kids be brave enough to be the first in their family to attend college and have a dream for their future. Many of Extreme Martial Arts families are positively affected by the inspiration provided to your child; from supporting those with autism-spectrum, mental health or medical health issues to building self-confidence, self-esteem, discipline, and personal growth. Academically, Extreme Martial Arts has not only encouraged hundreds of children to attend college, but helped build the fundamentals of study habits, social skills, and learning to ask for help. Many of your kids have received awards in school, some have had a significant increase in their reading level, some have finally connected with reading, some are actually enjoying school for the first time by realizing that learning can be fun. Master Ramirez has coached thousands of Bay Area students to victory in Taekwondo tournaments, including over 600 California State Champions, and over 500 USA National Taekwondo Championships, created a reputation as a prestigious Taekwondo Sparring School.
Extreme Martial Arts is currently teaching all our Taekwondo classes, tutoring classes, afterschool club, and team trainings online in Zoom. Throughout this stay home order, we have been open virtually and not close our doors during this quarantine, because if we do, unfortunately, we will not be able to open them again after 21 years helping thousands of children in our community and their families. So we look to you, our family, for help through this devastating pandemic to stay in business. Unfortunately, Extreme Martial Arts is relying on its Extreme community and family to donate to support Extreme Martial Arts to stay in business another month until we are able to open its doors again.
