My for baby Clyde managed to get out and was hit by a speeding car. They purposely did it. They swerved to hit him as my 5 year old watched it happen. Clyde was my sons early birthday present and there inseparable. The bond that they have is like a bond you would dream of your kid having with the dog Clyde is a part of our family and he’s very important to us and his family we’ve had him since he was about three weeks old and we are devastated by what had happened. The car that hit him never even stopped and I know this for a fact because I’ve had multiple neighbors send me the video or clips of the video that got the car and multiple whitenesses including my 5 year old son. Clyde is 7 months old and very smart. Him and my son are like partners in crime to the fullest and my son is straight traumatized over what happened as am I. I tracked my puppy down since he was rushed to 66 emergency vet they had to release him to east side animal shelter..they stabilized him he has a collapsed lung that seems to not be getting worse but it will take time to show improvements. He has a right broken femur dislocated hip that will need surgically fixed or amputated a left front leg  broken lacerations in his mouth and fluid in his lungs and road rash everywhere. Animal welfare was telling me that they more than likely were going to euthanize him due to the medical care that he was going to need with his leg and that it wasn’t worth it to them to try to save him and
They couldn’t guarantee that he would get any help that he needed so they would listen to me either euthanize him myself or give him a chance to live and Pay medical treatments. I thought about it hard and he was still showing way too many signs of life I spent my entire $500 tax return on getting in the examination and make sure you can sure he was stable enough for the surgery he’s gonna need on his femur i’m not going to let him go down without a fight he’s still baby I don’t know how I even got given a chance to still be here today because I look death in the face and wasn’t supposed to make it and I am here standing still and so I feel like that Puppy that came into our lives and change their world deserves a chance of life and we are asking for anybody that might be willing to help out whether it’s a Simple dollar or locating the car or even giving any information on how I can go about paying this vet cost that way I could keep my family together with my for babies as well as not giving up him.thank you
