I wish I had an exciting story. Skiing the alps, chased by bears, trying to catch the ladder hanging from the helicopter, to meet Tom Cruise, and fell. But alas, I slipped on a laminate floor, after an exhausting day of moving. (Sigh) My knee snapped out from under me, and I am currently considered disabled, and can’t work. You might think “can’t work, great”. But I love my job. I was inching my way to full time. Now this. :( My deductible with the insurance I have is $2,000. The ER bill hasn’t even hit yet. My daughter is in high school. Money is going out and not coming in. I’m FREAKING! So whatever you can do would be greatly appreciated. I’ve done this for others, but never for myself.
