The Pine Rivers Swans AFC family is rallying around two of our beloved and long-standing club members, Cindy and Stacy.

They are due to welcome their first child into the world any day now—a moment that should be filled with pure joy, last-minute nursery preparations, and excitement.

Tragically, their world was completely flipped upside down last week.

A Crisis Before the Cradle

A shocking incident saw an individual crash a car directly into the front of their house. Thankfully, Cindy and Stacy are physically safe, but the damage is catastrophic, leaving the home structurally unsound and unliveable for potentially up to 12 months.

Instead of peacefully awaiting their baby, they are suddenly managing the trauma of a horrific accident, coordinating complex insurance claims, and desperately scrambling to find alternative short-term accommodation. They are facing an enormous challenge: having their first baby without a home to bring them back to.

Our Goal: Short-Term Financial Relief

As a club that prides itself on family and community, we know we can ease this immediate and overwhelming burden. We are calling on the incredible Swans family—players, members, supporters, and the wider community—to provide short-term financial relief.

Our immediate fundraising goal is to cover the essential costs of relocating:

• Emergency Accommodation: Covering deposits and short-term rent for a safe place to stay in the next few weeks and months.

• Baby Essentials: Funds for items that may have been damaged or are needed immediately for the baby's arrival.

• Navigating the Chaos: Providing a buffer that allows them to pay for temporary storage, food, and transport while they manage insurance claims without immediately draining their savings.

We want to remove the financial stress of this sudden relocation so Cindy and Stacy can focus on what is truly important: the health of the incoming bundle of joy and managing their emotional recovery.
