Clover's Charity Busking Extravaganza

Hi, my name is Sandra Glynn

On 3rd August 2022 I would have been 3 years clear on my left side. However, I discovered a significant lump in my right breast and under my arm. After an urgent biopsy and CT scan, it was the worst news we could have received, secondary breast to liver cancer.

To date, I have received my 33rd targeted chemotherapy and continuing invasive treatment followed by scans.

As a child I played the violin till I was 11 years old and 50 years LATER at the age of 62! I have decided to take up my musical journey again. I met my tutor Peter Morgan who teaches a wide range of students from ages 3- 70 years old. After speaking with Peter about the annual Christmas music concert, we wanted to do something different this year!

Therefore we have decided to raise money for the Lilac Cancer Centre (St Helens Hospital) for Accessible clothing for Cancer patients who are receiving invasive chemotherapy. The type of clothing that will be bought are known as 'Zoodies', which allow patients to receive treatment through the zip compartment instead of undressing/ removing layers ensuring they stay warm during their time on the ward.

The Clover Charity is working towards helping to raise as much as we can for Zoodies for Cancer patients and there will also be a donation made to St Helens Cornerstone Food Pantry Food Bank helping those who are facing financial difficulties.

This is an indoor event which is free of attendance, if refreshments are needed Costa is opposite.

We have helped raised money in the past which has helped massively to Cancer patients at the Lilac Centre and Clatterbridge Cancer Centre as well as Children's Hospices such as Derian House / Claire House.

SO WRAP UP AND SHOW UP IN SUPPORT OF THE CLOVER FUND AND BE MUSICALLY ENTERTAINED BY AN AMAZING GROUP OF TALENTED PEOPLE.
