On Sunday, April 7th, 2019 our amazing friend Ben Clouser was in a traumatic accident where he was severely electrocuted and his heart stopped. With the help of many friends on site and local EMS they were able to get him immediate medical assistance and he was transported by ambulance to the local hospital. From which he was airlifted to Boston to treat his severe burns. Since he has been unconscious in the Surgical ICU and will have a long road of treatment ahead of him. They are keeping him sedated and cooling his body in order to help brain function. EEG tests (to measure brain waves) have left the family with many unknowns due to the amount of time he was without oxygen to the brain.

Many people in the area have been affected by this unexpected incident but most importantly his family. Ben is an amazing friend, son, Brother and more. He is the one always right there to help others emotionally and physically. He is intelligent, funny and so humble. He is such a hard worker but is self employed and will not be able to return to work for a long time. 

Everyone is looking forward to seeing his contagious smile and hearing his great laugh once again. Even through all the procedures and unknowns, sharing stories of Ben's great personality has provided smiles, laughter and much comfort.

Ben es un hermano de nuestra congregación. Desafortunadamente el domingo pasado sufrió quemaduras severas por electrocución. Gracias a los amigos que se encontraban recibió ayuda immediata y fue transportado al hospital local y transferido por aire a un hospital con especialidad en quemaduras.
Ben trabaja por su cuenta y necesitará ayuda para cubrir los gastos médicos y de recuperación.
Ben es un joven que siempre ha estado dispuesto a ayudar a quien lo necesita, buen amigo, hijo y hermano.
