Our 4 year old Staffy - Cloud - has been diagnosed with Lymphoma, which is a type of cancer that stems from the lymphocytes.
Cloud is such a sweet and loving girl, who grew up with her older sister - a Siberian Husky - named Shadow. They are inseperable and do everything together. Our pets are important members of our family, and we we love them all so much.
Although it is a very expensive treatment that a lot of family and friends think is "too much to spend on a dog", we have decided to go ahead with chemotherapy for Cloud. Without the chemotherapy, she will only live most likely about 8 weeks or less. We want to give her a chance.
The total cost for treatment - including the chemotherapy, other medications, veterinary visits, blood tests and monitoring - is estimated at about $8000.
I understand that it is a difficult time for everybody at the moment, and both myself and my mum were initially against the idea of asking the Twitch community for help. However, over the last few days, I have seen my mum increasingly stressed and I would like to help her if I can. Some members of the community did message me previously and indicated that they would like to contribute to Cloud's chemotherapy expenses. I made this GoFundMe for those who are happy to help.
Even if you are unable to donate towards these expenses, I just wanted to say that I really appreciate the love and support for Cloud over the passed couple of weeks.
