Clothing our clients for winter
Donation protected
Hi everyone. I am a board member for tapvirginia.org an assistance program that helps transgender and gender nonconforming people (including veterans) out of homelessness and other unfortunate situations.
•Winter is coming and we have many clients who need clothing to stay warm! ❄️☃️❄️
•Our clients also need clothing for interviews and for those new jobs that require a certain dress code.
•Many stores create a shopping stress! It can be hard to try on clothes for a Trans person in a store with gender specific fitting rooms. Goodwill and Thrift stores do not create this issue!
Only have a few dollars to spare?
•One dollar gets a client a sweater or winter accessories like a hats, gloves or a scarf.
•$5 dollars could get a client a bag of winter clothes or 1 coat and a pair of boots!
•$10 dollars can get our clients a bag of winter clothes, a coat and boots!
•$20 dollars can help us clothe 3 clients with winter essentials!
If you can’t afford to give, then please share this anywhere you think it will help! We also accept gently used clothing donations!
Thank you for your time. Thank you for caring!
