She is clothed with STRENGTH & DIGNITY!

Hi, my name is Ashley Parker and I am the daughter of Latricia Parker. As most of you know, my mother was diagnosed with lung cancer in January 2021. After undergoing lung surgery in August 2021 and taking a few months to heal we learned that the cancer had metastasized into the liver shortly after.

Her battle has been seemingly relentless and full of many challenges that she has had to mentally and physically prepare to overcome. It seems that every few months, post CT and PET scans, we continue to learn that the cancer is spreading, another tumor has been detected etc. and the toll has become heavy!

Latricia has been so strong and has fought a vicious fight for three years without a break. Medical expenses continue to accrue, travel expenses for doctor visits between Austin, Houston and Lampasas continue to add up, the need for food, medications and so much more add to the stress of this brutal fight.

We learned about a week ago, as a last ditch effort, traditional chemotherapy was the route we must take. She has up to six rounds of chemotherapy in her future over the next few months, and a possible eye surgery due to a metastatic tumor that was recently detected on her right retina.

Asking for help can be a daunting task and is unlike her but I believe it’s time. She has a heart the size of Texas and is always helping when she can. I would like to return the favor, in an effort to help lighten her very heavy load.

I will ask for any donation, large or small to help lighten the burdens of this awful disease that continues to rear its ugly head in her life!
