My 9 year old daughter, Brooklyn, tragically lost her father in a car accident on November 19th. Chris lived in California with his wife Nicole, their daughter Sage and baby willow expected to maker her arrival in March. He left behind two girls back in New England, Brooklyn and Ady.

Brooklyn is really struggling with the loss of her dad and having so many unanswered questions. I’ve been trying my hardest to answer her questions and help her thru this difficult time in her life.

I found out yesterday the funeral will be in California on the 20th. Brooklyn is begging me to be able to be there with her dad and Auntie Heather. I told her it would not be financially possible. She is crushed and disappointed and offered me her piggy bank to see if she had enough money. I’m not one to ask for help - but this is for my daughter to be able to say goodbye to her dad and be there with her favorite person ever (Auntie Heather).

Whatever is donated will go straight towards plane tickets for Brooklyn and myself. I need to know I exhausted all possibilities to get us to California for this closure and healing process to start.
