Closing Assistance for Pete’s Famous Hot Dogs

Sadly, after nearly 40 years in business, Pete’s Famous Hot Dogs in Lily Lake, Illinois will be closing. The owner, Pete Prevenas, has been waylaid with failing health for all of the past year. Combined with the COVID lockdowns and now the harsh Midwestern winter, this beloved small business and fixture in the area finally has to close its doors. We’re setting up this campaign to help assist with all the closure-related expenses and to help Pete and his wife stay on their feet through all of the ongoing medical issues. We know that Pete and his restaurant have meant a great deal to a lot of people over the years, and we deeply appreciate any help that can be spared in these very difficult times.
