Hi im Lauren Darren partner.

•  My partner Darren is 35 years old, in 2021 he went through hell, his aorta tore due to high blood pressure, leaving Darren needing open heart surgery (type a aortic dissection) giving him a 30% change of death, affer Darren’s operation he was awake for just over 1 days, until he took a turn for the worst and his organs started shutting down leaving the freeman hospital no choice to to induce him into a coma to save his life, Darren needed machines to run his body whilst he was in a coma because he was to weak to do it himself, Darren went through all this on his own due to covid, he’s went from being fine one day to needing heart surgery to save his life, a few months after being discharged from the hospital Darren’s battle didn’t end, it was only just starting, the impact of his organs shutting down and left a life changing effect on Darren’s body, he is now and has been living with stage 5 kidney failure where he needs dialysis 5x a week. He’s suffered more than he needs to. And I will do anything to make him back to the man we all miss and love instead of the empty shell we see today Watching the man you love fading away knowing the pain and struggles he’s battling everyday is heartbreaking  
  

I want him home healthy and so do his kids, this is having a massive effect on our 2 youngest children, especially our youngest son who’s autistic. Due to dialysing 5x a week from Tuesday through until Saturday means we never get any family time together, never in a million years did I ever think I would be asking strangers for help, but for nearly 5 years we have been trying to get him better and he is still no further forward, I can’t stress enough how much of an impact this has had on Darren and our full family.

Unfortunately 4 days ago Darren suffered a mental break down and is still hospitalised through this. Im begging anyone who can help, I understand things are hard for everyone, so even just a share. Every share and every penny is a step closer to getting Darren a kidney and changing his life. Unfortunately it’s come to light, Darren having a go fund me page, would jeopardise his place on the NHS transplant list but I’m going to keep this running as want his story out there, the go fund me will be to help Darren and our family for a break away. Himself and his children really deserve this. ❤️
