Close the Gap for Santiago's College Bill!

Mel Coyle here! Former college counselor to Santiago from the class of 2020. Let me tell you a little bit about what makes him awesome.

[You’re not going to find any pictures here, videos, or examples of his projects, or yada yada because we’ve got to be done having students perform their humanity for basic stuff .]

Santiago is a student at Ohio University in the School of Media Arts and Studies. He is studying animation and video game design. Despite all the challenges of starting college in the Fall of 2020, at the height of the pandemic, Santiago is now a junior in college! He is getting deep into his major, making films and animations. It is very cool stuff!!

He needs support closing the remaining gap for his college bill. After loans, grants, and scholarships, he still owes $5,000 and time is running out.

Right now, he has no good choices. As a result of this outstanding payment, he will have to withdraw from the university or forgo his meal plan or health insurance. We’re simply not going to let any of these things happen.

These are choices a young person should not have to face.
