Clonakilty Arts and Minds Arts Festival Liability Insurance

Hi, Liz and I are organizing a four day arts festival in Clonakilty, West Cork, Ireland. We are operating on a volunteer basis with a few of our friends to help. Some events will be ticketed, some by donation with all monies going directly to the artists. Through generous local support we can also provide these artists with meal vouchers, contributions to accommodation etc. We knew there might be a possibility of having to get Public Liability Insurance but were frankly trying to avoid that. Now however we have been put in the position where venues are requiring this before we can confirm dates. We got our quote today and were, quite frankly, shocked. 1300 euro for 4 days, funds we don't and won't have. Our festival, Clonakilty Arts and Minds (@clonartsandminds ) is on in a few weeks time March 27th. to 30th. We have put a lot of time, energy, love and personal creativity into the project and just can't give up on it now. We need to raise this insurance money and are relying on your generosity to see us through. Any donation at all, no matter how small will help. Into your hands we commend our festival.
