Clips for Confidence has a four-point mission:
1) Promote and support black-owned businesses.
2) Collaborate with Framingham Public Schools to identify and register students needing sponsored cuts.
3) Instill confidence in young people through hair cuts and styling, which is a critical factor affecting the self-confidence of many youth, especially during this hard time.
4) Provide back-to-school supplies to facilitate academic success.
Downtown Framingham, Inc. is raising funds through August 30, 2021 to sponsor haircuts for local youth at downtown barbers that support our local black community through proven relationship building, and to provide them with back-to-school supplies.
