Clint’s Kidney fund

Thank you first and foremost. I have pondered doing this on numerous occasions however I feel now is the perfect time to finally ask for some help. My name is Clinton but you can call me Clint. I have been needing a kidney transplant for over four years now. I am currently on a donor list with the University of Michigan. My mother has been testing to become my donor however she is now getting older and I don’t know if it will work out any longer. I have been on home dialysis for the last four years. I’ve also been holding down a full time job and taking care of my dog and house.

The last two years I’ve been in and out of the hospital . Due to COVID-19 things have become even more dire and harder. I’ve had to miss weeks of work last year and this past November I caught influenza for three weeks and then got worse off and ended up in the hospital. I lost 60lbs and and to go thru physical and cognitive therapy. 

I’m currently been off work since last November until now, and been on bed rest at home. I’ve drained all my monetary resources paying bills medical and regular. I’m hoping to get back to work and back home soon, however time will tell.

I’m a very proud person and this is a very hard pill to take however I feel I need to step up and ask for whatever help I can find. Thank you for your time, consideration, and patience on this matter.
