Clint Weber's Medical Bills

Donation protected
Last Friday, March 22nd, Clint was working on building cabinets for the coffeeshop our family is in the process of opening. While sawing wood for the cabinet doors, the saw blade snagged his glove, which resulted in his index and middle fingers being severely cut. He immediately went to the Emergency Room where they temporarily stitched his fingers until the following Monday - the soonest availability - due to no surgeries being done on weekends unless it is life threatening. After enduring a painful weekend, three days later, they had to remove between a third to a half of his index finger and re-attach the tendons that were cut in both his index and middle fingers. Now that surgery has been completed, he is on the road to recovery, where he will have to learn how to properly regain strength in his fingers. He will weekly attend physical therapy for 12 weeks and in roughly 3 months should be able to resume normal activities.

Between the ER visit, surgery, and physical therapy, the need that this presents us with is about $25,000. Insurance should cover everything beyond that. It is difficult sometimes to put ourselves out there, but several people have told us that GoFundMe might be something we should look into. This last year has placed us in a position where we have to trust God extra to lead us with our finances and our time. This is a season of life where there seems to be one test after another, but we are trusting God will help us walk through this trial as well.

Outside of the financial need, Clint and the rest of our family would definitely appreciate your continued prayers and reaching out as you have been. As anyone who has gone through a physical accident would say, the physical part is really only part of it. The mental stress that accrues is usually even greater, as you are not only unable to contribute to the activities and tasks going on around you, but also unable to fulfill your usual responsibilities. Those of you who know Clint, realize he is extremely talented with any type of handiwork and that he absolutely loves using his hands, whether it be playing his ukulele or guitar, or simply fiddling with his pocket knife. Since this is his primary hand, this will be a bit of an adjustment, so prayers that Clint would be able to rest easy until he's fully healed would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you to everyone who has been reaching out and bringing food by the house and sending notes of encouragement! It has really meant a lot to Clint and his family to see how the body of Christ has come together to support him!
