Clint Olsen Medical Crisis Fund

Donation protected
Wednesday April 7, my 44 year old brother in law, Clint Olsen, got up like every other morning to get ready for work.  Anyone who knows him, knows Clint is a hard worker and takes great pride in providing for his family.  That morning he started complaining, to my sister in law Lisa, of a severe headache.  Clint is not one to complain or seek medical attention often, so when he started sweating profusely and became disoriented, Lisa knew she had to get help, even though Clint was not keen to the idea.  Clint was transported by ambulance to St. Michaels hospital in Silverdale, where they quickly discovered his brain was hemorrhaging and building up pressure.  He was rapidly transported to St. Joe's hospital in Tacoma,  where they have a strong neurosurgical until.  Due to current restrictions, Lisa was not allowed to see him after he left Silverdale.  A tube was surgically placed through Clint's skull to release the fluid and blood putting pressure on his brain.  They have tried to discontinue the drain, with no avail as of yet.  Lisa was allowed to see him after one week for two hours.  They told her at that point she could come visit twice a week for two hours at a time.   Saturday Lisa recieved news that she would no longer be allowed to visit, as he was not considered "end of life" anymore.  She was not aware that was the reason they allowed her to come in the first place.  As you can imagine, this has been incredibly difficult for her.  Clint is able to use his limbs and walk and talk, which are all miraculous in this event, a hemmoragic stroke. He currently is suffering from severe short term memory loss, and is often upset forgetting why he is there and doesn't understand why Lisa is not by his side.  It is not certain when he will be able to return home to his family, and what that will entail.  A lot of people have reached out, asking how they can help.  Prayers are so appreciated!  Also, the medical bills have not started rolling in yet, but they will.  Clint has been in ICU for more than a week now.  He is having many scans, tests and procedures daily.  No one is certain yet, if and or when Clint will be able to work again.  As you can imagine, this is going to take a significant financial toll on their family.  If you are looking for someway to help, like many of us, please consider donating.  All of the funds will go directly to Clint, Lisa and their kids to help off set at least some of the financial burden, so their energy can be focused on Clint's recovery.  Thank you. <3
