Clint and Tami need your help as Clint battles cancer.

Hi, my name is Janelle, and I am asking family and friends, close and far, for help for my brother in law, Clinton Patterson, and his wife Tami.

Clint is 54 years old. Recently, health has been in decline, and in late November he was admitted to hospital, losing weight, weak and fatigued. He has not been given a clear diagnosis, he has cancer in the liver, and also his bones, but the source of the cancer has not yet been determined. He has been given multiple tests, and hospital staff are working hard to find the cause and determine treatment.

He has lost over 100 lbs in just a few short weeks, he is very weak at this point, unable to stand or walk. There is a focus on stabilizing his body, while also ongoing tests to determine the nature of what’s happening.

Tami, is by his side every day and also many nights she stays with him, but she also has to return home to rest, eat and sleep, as well as look after their cats. She has been out of work since late October, before Clint was hospitalized, and Clint of course has not been able to work at this time, so they are solely supported by income insurance, but that is a small percentage of Tami’s income, it’s not enough to cover all the expenses that were being supported by two employed people.

They do not have a vehicle and it is costing $20 or more every day for Tami to travel back and forth to be with Clint, she doesn’t buy food or anything while she is there, not wanting to waste money that’s in short supply.

This situation has evolved quickly and unexpectedly, and I am asking anyone who can help, to please assist these two lovely, kind people, as they try their best to work through a terrible diagnosis of cancer.

While I ask for donations for them, I also encourage you to reach out and offer support, with anything you can, from meals to help with transportation, or what you feel would benefit them.
