Clinical Trial Prices

Good morning to all,

If you know me at all then you know this bothers and pains me, let alone, embarrass me to no end. I am not one to reach out and ask for help unless it is my last resort.

If you follow me at all you will know that I have pancreatic cancer and have now decided to go on hospice and off all chemo and treatments because they just ruin me each treatment. I am now at the mercy of any clinical trials and have been introduced to one out of LA that has great numbers and extending life for another 12-24 months. However, if you know anything about Tricare Insurance, you know that they have fine guidelines of what they will cover. The will not cover this trial because I am on hospice now and they won’t pay for both.

Bottom line is this, trial is about 6,000 dollars and that is money I just don’t have. My baseball team (Thank you Reagan, Rickie, and the whole team) has already donated 1500.00 to the cause and that is appreciated to the soul of my body.

I am looking to raise as much as I can to help offset the cost of the trial and it’s medication costs.
