Clinical trial for mom of 3 kids. No coverage

I’m trying to help a friend who just received news that her cancer is not treatable and according to doctors she is on the clock. The Only option is getting into a clinical trial and she has to get in immediately. Sadly her insurance doesn’t cover the cost. It’s $27,000 just to begin the clinical and has to be paid before she can be accepted into the program.
