Clinical Gowns for GP surgeries on A3 corridor

Thank you all again for your kind donations, we have over 500 gowns currently being made for care homes within our community. We have currently paused the funding to enable us to liaise with the GP federation and decide next steps.

Thank you all for your amazing response to funding this Clinical Gown Project
Our team of Pattern Cutting, Sewing and Distribution Fairies have made over 1500 gowns (from the original £5.5k) which are currently being used in the GP Practices and specialised Respiratory Hubs from Bordon and down the A3 corridor to Hayling Island and Fareham & Gosport.
The gowns have also been donated to care and nursing homes within our community.
During the current Coronavirus pandemic they are currently running two hubs in the community specifically for respiratory patients as well as another hub for non respiratory patients, phlebotomy services and assisting with home visiting services.

As the current crisis continues, we have been asked to make more gowns - so to do this we need more funding - we are very grateful to all your donations so far, all funding will be used to make gowns for the community.

We have totally smashed our original target of £1000 and with the £5700 raised initially we not only made over 1500 gowns but also donated 600m of scrubs fabric to the local 'scrubbers' group and individuals who have made 200 sets of scrubs.
All money not used for fabric and PPE  will be donated to the NHS at the end of this project.
